Our Team


Preschool Director

Nicole Partaka

Mrs. Nicole studied at Central Michigan University. She received her Bachelors Degree in early childhood development and her Master's degree in administration. She has been in the childcare field for over 15 years. She is married and has two adorable children, ages 9&7. Her amazing husband David, is a soldier for the United States Army.


Junior Kindergarten

Margaret Neagu

Margaret has been an early childhood educator for 24 years. She believes the purpose of education is to engage all students intellectually, ethically, physically and socially in the pursuit of knowledge. Margaret believes her job is to facilitate the pursuit of learning by creating and maintaining a safe learning environment in which risk taking is encouraged, problem solving is developed and successes are celebrated. It is her passion to help students reach their full potential. She achieves this through differentiated instruction, scaffold learning and building upon prior knowledge to encourage each student's success and enthusiasm for learning. Margaret holds a BA in Liberal Studies and is fluent in Spanish. She has been married for 32 years and has two adult children.


Pre-K

Becky Chappel

Becky is the head 4 year old teacher. She is from Hawaii. She has her associates degree from Kauai Community Collage. She has over 14 years of experience.


3's & 4's

Kim Kowatch

This is Kim's 32nd year of teaching at Adventures In Learning. Her philosophy is to ensure that the classroom is welcoming and that the children in her care feel safe and loved. Kim believes that children learn best when the material presented is developmentally appropriate and meets the child's specific needs. She is constantly building on the knowledge and skills that students bring to the classroom and partners with parents in the education process. Her goal is to build self-esteem and allow each child to be as independent as they can be. Kim is heading back to college this academic year to get even more early childhood qualifications.


Pre-K

Savannah

I have always had a vision and passion for working with kids. This is my first year as a lead teacher in the classroom. I am currently taking online and evening classes at Las Positas to complete my degrees in Child Development and Liberal Arts. In my spare time I like to work on my art, enjoy the outdoors, grow deeper in my relationship with God, and spread Jesus’s love to others.

Anna Santiago

Anna has been an Early Childhood Educator for more than 25 years. This is her 9th year working at Adventures In Learning as a teacher. Anna has a God-given love for the children in her care. She believes that the best way for the children to learn is through play. Anna shares her love for God with the children in her classroom. Her desire for them is that they would know God and begin a lifelong educational process in a nurturing environment. Anna is practicing what she teaches; she is back at college completing her degree. She has three adult children and five grandsons.


Assistant Teacher

Morgan Villegas

Morgan Villegas is a Bay Area Native, who married her High School sweetheart and is currently serving on the USS Nimitz in Bremerton, Washington. I've been going to Harvest Valley Church for the last 4 years. I am currently taking online classes at Chabot College in Hayward, California working towards my Business Degree. Every chance she gest she is doing some kind of activity outdoors or working out. She considers herself very creative and always doing some form of DIY projects or other projects that she thinks up. Spending time with family and friends is also very important to her and she tries to see them often.


2's Teacher

Ms. Breanna Lamere

Ms. Briana has been in the childcare field over 12 years and teaching for the past three. She found her passion for teaching in the fourth grade and when he graduated from Turlock Christian High School in 2009 she has been pursuing her education in child development to expand and build on her knowledge on how to a better teaching. “Children need guidance, love, understanding, fun, adventure, kindness and firmness. I want to give my students the best experience in learning not just about shapes, colors, numbers and the alphabet but also learn about being kind to others, how to break out of their safe zone and enjoy what and who are around them. Give them the tools to make good decisions and how to be successful as they grow older and not only have the word of God on their side but how to act on them.”


3's Teacher

Jasmine Aghedo

Jasmine is from San Francisco but currently resides in Stockton. She is an Early Childhood Education major at Humphreys University and has extensive experience observing and caring for children. She has also previously worked a local preschool in Pleasanton as a toddler teacher as well as an after school tutor. She also has a dance background of ballet ,tap ,jazz, and hip hop and she has taught ages 3-12 with a few local dance companies.


Adventure Club Coordinator

Emile Wallace

Emile has been an Early Childhood Educator for 16 years, and this is her 5th year teaching at Adventures In Learning. She loves being a part of the Celebrate Recovery Ministry and serving the families here at Harvest Valley Church. Her passion is to share the love of Jesus with the children and to help them grow in the knowledge that God has a plan for their lives. Emile has two grown daughters.

Martial Arts

Ed Untalan

Ed has been in the martial arts for decades, and is acknowledged by the BBFI and CMA Association as a senior eighth level black belt instructor. Ed has a passion to teach martial arts to children at an early age and believes it will develop their spiritual growth and spiritual maturity, strengthen character development, enhance behavior, and develop proper attitudes toward physical fitness and self defense. Ed believes when a child is physically fit, the child feels better about themselves. Addtionally, Ed believes martial arts training will keep our kids healthy and physically fit and will improve the childs behavior and improve attention span, respect for others, obedience to parents and other authority structures.
